Poster Presentation Guidelines
Posters will be on display in the New Zealand Room at SkyCity Convention Centre from Tuesday 20 March to Friday 23 March. Please put up your poster between 3pm and 4pm on Monday 19 March or between 7.30am and 8.30am on Tuesday 20 March. Posters can be removed between 11am and 1pm on Friday 23 March. Any poster still on display after 1pm on Friday 23 March will be destroyed.
Guide for Preparation of Posters
Posters should be self-explanatory, so that you are free to supplement and discuss particular points raised by viewers. Remember that your material/illustrations will be viewed from distances of one metre or more. Lettering should be as large as possible and preferably in bold type.
Simplicity is the key:
• Brief captions
• Tables that are few in number but clear
• Succinct text, with large font
• Clear, legible figures
• Posters must not exceed the space of 841mm wide and 1189mm tall (A0 size).
• Portrait orientation is required.
• Each poster board is 2.3m high x 1.2 m wide.
• Poster boards will be Velcro compatible.
Please bring the hook side of Velcro with you to attach your poster to the board.
All presenting authors (oral and poster) must register and pay to attend the Congress prior to 31 January 2018 to be included in the Congress programme. Otherwise we regret that your presentation will have to be removed from the programme.
